Report Harmful Content is provided by UK Safer Internet Centre and operated by SWGfL.
From 1st April 2025, Report Harmful Content will be operating on a limited basis due to the end of our external funding. Our website will remain active with up-to-date advice, but responses to reports will be significantly limited and prioritised on a case-by-case basis.
Why can we help?
We have our experience of running two successful helplines, the Professionals Online Safety Helpline and the Revenge Porn Helpline. This experience has given us the unique set of skills, insights and relationships with industry to have a specialist knowledge base.
About UK Safer Internet Centre
UK Safer Internet Centre is a partnership of three leading organisations with one mission - to promote the safe and responsible use of technology for young people. The partnership was appointed by the European Commission as the Safer Internet Centre for the UK in January 2011 and is one of 31 Safer Internet Centres in the Insafe network.

About SWGfL
SWGfL is one of the partners of the UK Safer Internet Centre, a consortium working to make the UK the safest place to access the internet in the world. SWGfL is a charity which has been working with internet companies to keep people safe online for many decades. During this time we have developed protocols which enable us to mediate between complainants and the provider to try and resolve the matter and remove any harmful content from the platform.
