Twitter's stance on suicide or self-harm

Most platforms do not allow any content which encourages, instructs or glorifies self-harm or suicide. Some platforms have processes in place for safeguarding users who view or share this type of content.

Twitter does not promote or encourage suicide or self-harm. If Twitter receives reports that a person is threatening suicide or self-harm. In that case, they may take a number of steps to assist them, such as reaching out to that person and providing resources such as contact information for our mental health partners.

Report suicide or self-harm content on Twitter here.
