Twitch's stance on impersonation
Impersonation is when someone assumes the identity of another person to harass or defraud them. It can also include behaviours such as creating fake accounts or hijacking accounts, usually with the intent of targeting an individual.
Twitch prohibit content or activities meant to impersonate an individual or organisations, this also includes impersonation of Twitch staff, celebrities, companies, or friend.
Twitch will remove accounts that impersonate another Twitch account or pose as a celebrity in a streamer’s chat.
