Instagram's stance on self-injury and suicide
Most platforms do not allow any content which encourages, instructs or glorifies self-harm or suicide. Some platforms have processes in place for safeguarding users who view or share this type of content.
Instagram will disable accounts that encourage self-injury or identifies victims or survivors of self-injury if the content targets them for attack or humour.
