There are many different types of eating disorders, including Anorexia, Bulimia, Binge Eating Disorder and Orthorexia. If you are struggling with negative body image issues, feeling insecure about your body or trying to recover from an eating disorder, then social media can be a difficult or dangerous place.

On social media platforms, such as Instagram, Tumblr and Facebook, you might come across proana, promia or thinspo memes and hashtags. This can make dealing with, recovering from or seeking help for an eating disorder difficult.
